Poplar Grove is a water-lover’s paradise. With miles of natural tidal marshes and access to deepwater, the fishing opportunities abound. In fact, our very own Rantowles Creek holds consecutive state records for striped bass. You can launch your boat from your own private dock or enjoy the many amenities of the Boathouse Community Center, including boat and canoe storage and crabbing. There are also are two large lakes that wind through the homesites allowing you the opportunity to explore the backwaters and extensive canal system by canoe or kayak.

Poplar Grove is also a haven for birders, nature lovers and for those who simply relish watching sunsets reflected on still waters. Framing these vistas are more than 20 miles of trails and paths offering bikers, equestrian riders and walkers access to wild areas and ever-changing views of golden marshes and Lowcountry wildlife.
